We have been proudly serving residential and commercial clients throughout South Florida since December 2017. Our services include deep cleaning for couches, chairs, mattresses, and carpets performed on-site at your designated location using safe, eco-friendly products and professional-grade cleaning equipment.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all individuals and entities who:

Sturdy Cleaning is a consumer and residential services company founded in December 2017 and headquartered in Hollywood, Florida 33020. We specialize in professional mobile deep cleaning for upholstery, carpets, and mattresses, serving a diverse range of clients including homeowners, renters, apartment residents, Airbnb hosts, offices, bars, nightclubs, churches, schools, hospitals, and other commercial spaces throughout Hollywood, FL and the greater South Florida area.

The name “Sturdy” is a direct reflection of our core business values: strength, reliability, honesty, and an unwavering commitment to delivering unmatched quality cleaning services to every client we serve. These same values are embedded in these Terms and Conditions and guide every decision we make as a business.

All of our cleaning services are performed on-site at the client’s designated location. We do not operate a physical walk-in office or retail location. All client communications are conducted primarily through WhatsApp for quick inquiries and email for formal bookings, scheduling, and detailed service-related correspondence.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website, contacting our team, or booking any of our cleaning services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age or have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement on behalf of the individual or organization you represent.
  • You have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
  • All information you provide to Sturdy Cleaning during the booking process is accurate, complete, and truthful to the best of your knowledge.
  • You have the legal authority to authorize cleaning services at the location address you provide, whether it is your own property or a property for which you have been granted appropriate permission.

If you are booking a service on behalf of a business, organization, or third party, you represent and warrant that you have the full authority to accept these Terms and Conditions on their behalf and to bind them to all obligations outlined herein.

3.5 Service Availability

Our services are available to clients located in Hollywood, Florida, and surrounding South Florida communities. Service availability is subject to appointment scheduling and team availability at the time of booking. Sturdy Cleaning reserves the right to decline or reschedule a service request if the requested location falls outside our standard service area or if the appointment cannot be accommodated within a reasonable timeframe.

3.6 Service Limitations

While our professional team is trained and equipped to handle a wide range of cleaning challenges, Sturdy Cleaning does not guarantee the complete removal of all stains, odors, or damage in every circumstance. Results may vary depending on the age, condition, material type, and severity of soiling of the item being cleaned. Our team will always provide an honest assessment of what can realistically be achieved before the service begins.

4. Booking Process & Appointment Scheduling

4.1 How to Book

Clients may book a cleaning appointment by contacting Sturdy Cleaning directly through our designated communication channels:

  • WhatsApp: For quick inquiries, service questions, and appointment requests requiring a fast response.
  • Email: For formal booking requests, scheduling confirmations, and detailed service-related correspondence.

4.2 Booking Confirmation

A booking is not considered confirmed until the following two conditions have been met:

  1. Your appointment details, including service type, location address, and preferred date and time, have been agreed upon and confirmed by a member of the Sturdy Cleaning team.
  2. Your booking deposit has been successfully received and processed.

Until both conditions are satisfied, your requested appointment date and time remain available to other clients and cannot be guaranteed.

4.3 Accurate Information Requirement

It is the client’s responsibility to provide accurate and complete information during the booking process, including the correct service address, a valid contact number, a functioning email address, and accurate details about the items to be cleaned. Inaccurate information may result in appointment delays, additional charges, or the inability to perform the requested service.

4.4 Access to Service Location

The client is responsible for ensuring that Sturdy Cleaning’s team has full, safe, and unobstructed access to the service location at the agreed appointment time. This includes providing access codes, parking arrangements, elevator access in multi-story buildings, or any other access-related information our team may need to arrive and set up efficiently.

4.5 Right to Refuse Service

Sturdy Cleaning reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a service at any time if the team encounters conditions at the service location that are deemed unsafe, hazardous, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate. In such circumstances, the booking deposit may be forfeited depending on the nature of the situation.

5. Pricing, Deposits & Payment Terms

5.1 Service Pricing

All prices listed on our website represent booking deposit amounts — not the full service cost. Final pricing depends on the specific size, type, and condition of each item being cleaned and will be communicated clearly to the client before the service commences. 5.2 Booking Deposit

A non-refundable booking deposit ranging from $10 to $15 is required to confirm and secure every cleaning appointment. This deposit is fully deducted from your final service invoice upon completion of the cleaning. The deposit serves as a commitment from the client to honor the scheduled appointment and allows Sturdy Cleaning to allocate the appropriate team and resources to your booking.

5.3 Final Invoice

Your final invoice will reflect the full cost of the cleaning service performed, minus the booking deposit already paid. The final amount is determined based on the actual size, type, and condition of the items cleaned. All pricing is discussed, agreed upon, and confirmed with the client before any service begins. No additional charges will be applied to your invoice without your prior knowledge and explicit approval.

5.4 Payment Methods

Accepted payment methods will be communicated to you during the booking confirmation process. All payments are expected to be made in full upon completion of the cleaning service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

5.5 No Hidden Fees

Sturdy Cleaning operates on a policy of complete pricing transparency. There are no hidden fees, surprise charges, or unauthorized upsells associated with any of our services. What is agreed upon before the service begins is what you will be charged upon completion.

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

6.1 Client Cancellations

We understand that unexpected circumstances arise. If you need to cancel your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide us with as much advance notice as possible via WhatsApp or email.

  • Cancellations made with sufficient advance notice (minimum 24 hours before the scheduled appointment) may be eligible for a deposit credit toward a future booking at Sturdy Cleaning’s discretion.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice or no-shows on the day of the appointment will result in the forfeiture of the booking deposit. This policy exists to compensate our team for time, travel, and resources already allocated to your appointment.

6.2 Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible via WhatsApp or email. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your new preferred date and time, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to the same deposit forfeiture policy as late cancellations.

6.3 Sturdy Cleaning Cancellations

In rare and unforeseen circumstances, Sturdy Cleaning may need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment due to emergencies, equipment issues, severe weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

In such cases, we will notify you as promptly as possible and offer to reschedule your appointment at the earliest available date and time that is convenient for you. If rescheduling is not possible or acceptable, your booking deposit will be fully refunded.

7. Client Responsibilities

To ensure that your cleaning appointment proceeds smoothly, efficiently, and safely, clients are expected to fulfill the following responsibilities:

7.1 Accurate Service Information

Provide complete and accurate details about the items to be cleaned, including size, material type, existing stains or damage, and any specific concerns or instructions you would like our team to be aware of before arrival. Inaccurate or incomplete information may affect the quality of the service or result in additional charges.

7.2 Safe & Accessible Service Environment

Ensure that the service area is reasonably clear, accessible, and safe for our team to work in. Remove fragile items, valuables, or personal belongings from the immediate cleaning area prior to our team’s arrival. Provide clear access to parking, building entry, elevators, and any other areas our team needs to access to perform the service.

7.3 Presence During Service

We strongly recommend that the client or a responsible adult be present at the service location for the full duration of the cleaning appointment. This allows our team to address any questions, provide progress updates, and obtain your approval of the results before concluding the service.

7.4 Pet & Child Safety

While our cleaning products are safe, eco-friendly, and skin-friendly, we recommend that children and pets be kept away from the immediate cleaning area during the service to ensure their safety and to allow our team to work without obstruction. Items may also remain wet for a period following the cleaning, and it is advisable to prevent access to cleaned surfaces until they are fully dry.

7.5 Pre-Existing Damage Disclosure

Clients are encouraged to disclose any known pre-existing damage, wear, or fragility in the items to be cleaned before the service begins. Sturdy Cleaning cannot be held responsible for the worsening of pre-existing conditions that were not disclosed prior to the commencement of the service.

8. Service Results & Satisfaction

8.1 Results Disclaimer

Sturdy Cleaning uses professional-grade equipment and industry-leading cleaning products to deliver the best possible results for every client. However, we cannot guarantee the complete removal of all stains, odors, or damage in every case.

Results are influenced by multiple factors, including but not limited to the age of the item, the type and severity of staining, the fabric or surface material, and the history of previous cleaning treatments. Our team will always provide an honest assessment of expected results before beginning the service.

8.2 Client Satisfaction

Your satisfaction is the foundation of our business. If you are dissatisfied with the results of your cleaning service for any reason, we strongly encourage you to communicate your concerns to our team before we leave your location so that we have the opportunity to address them immediately. Concerns raised after our team has departed will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

8.3 Re-Cleaning Requests

If you are not satisfied with a specific aspect of the cleaning service, please contact us within 24 hours of the appointment via WhatsApp or email with a detailed description of your concern. We will review your request and, where appropriate, offer a complimentary re-clean of the affected area at a mutually convenient time, at our sole discretion.

9. Liability & Limitations

9.1 General Liability

Sturdy Cleaning takes every reasonable precaution to protect your property and deliver a safe, professional service. However, our liability is limited to the direct and documented damage caused by a proven act of negligence by a member of our cleaning team during the performance of a scheduled service.

9.2 Pre-Existing Conditions

Sturdy Cleaning accepts no liability for damage to items that had pre-existing structural weaknesses, wear, fragility, or undisclosed damage prior to the cleaning service. It is the client’s responsibility to disclose all known pre-existing conditions before the service begins.

9.3 Indirect or Consequential Damages

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sturdy Cleaning shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of income, or emotional distress.

9.4 Force Majeure

Sturdy Cleaning shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms and Conditions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather events, government actions, pandemics, power outages, or other unforeseeable events.

In such circumstances, we will communicate with affected clients as promptly as possible and work to reschedule all affected appointments at the earliest opportunity.

10. Intellectual Property

All content published on the Sturdy Cleaning website, including but not limited to text, service descriptions, pricing information, images, graphics, logos, and design elements, is the exclusive intellectual property of Sturdy Cleaning and is fully protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, republish, display, transmit, modify, or create derivative works based on any content from our website without the prior written permission of Sturdy Cleaning. Unauthorized use of our content may result in legal action.

The Sturdy Cleaning name, logo, and brand identity are proprietary and may not be used by any third party for any purpose without explicit written authorization from Sturdy Cleaning.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, claim, or disagreement arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions or any Sturdy Cleaning service, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith direct communication.
